Trace of precipitation overnight. In trying to measure the snow on the ground last evening I found that the area I had been measuring is now or was not typical of the rest of the yard. While I had been measuring less than 1" in that area and is now bare in spots, the rest of the yard measured 1-3/4" to 3" or an average of 2.4". Of the yards across the street, one is mostly bare and another two are still snow covered. The differences are due to varying amounts of sun exposure, wind exposure, drifting, and so on. I'm still trying to figure out whether to adjust the figures already reported or ?
