• 1950: Very, very light snow, cloudy with the very tops of the mountains in the clouds.
• 1850: A few light snowflakes falling, cloudy with a few breaks in the SE part of the sky and some stars visible.
• 1800: .20" of precipitation so far today.
• 1750: Very Light Snow, Cloudy with the mainland slightly obscured.
• 1650: Cloudy with small breaks, very top of Mt. Roberts obscured, a fog/cloud over Last Chance Basin.

• In trying to measure the snow on the ground last evening I found that the area I had been measuring is now or was not typical of the rest of the yard. While I had been measuring less than 1" in that area and is now bare in spots, the rest of the yard measured 1-3/4" to 3" or an average of 2.4". Of the yards across the street, one is mostly bare and another two are still snow covered. The differences are due to varying amounts of sun exposure, wind exposure, drifting, and so on. I'm still trying to figure out whether to adjust the figures already reported or ? See 2050 AST 2/19.

Snow is expected to increase Sunday evening... and become locally heavy during the evening hours. The snow will begin to mix with or change to rain from the south during the evening. Snow accumulations into Sunday night are expect to be 4 to 6 inches. Highest amounts should be expected from Juneau northward... in interior passes... and over northern Glacier Bay. Northern Glacier Bay and the interior passes should remain snow through Sunday night with higher snowfall totals likely. An advisory means hazardous winter weather is already occurring or imminent.
