Patchy fog will continue for another hour or two. These
conditions will continue to improve so some lower visibilities are
possible until it dissipates

* Location...central Panhandle including Juneau...Angoon...
Petersburg...Wrangell and Kake.
* Visibility...less than one quarter of a mile at times.
* Timing...through Thursday morning.
* Impacts...travel will be hazardous.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
An advisory means that dense fog is already occurring or

...Heavy rain today through Tuesday...
Subtropical moisture associated with a warm front is moving over
the northern half of the Panhandle. Moderate to heavy rain is
forecasted for portions of the northeast...eastern Gulf Coast and
the central Inner Channels as the warm front stalls over the area
from today through Tuesday. Yakutat is starting to see moderate
rain and has received just under 0.50" in 6 hours ending at 4 am.
Rainfall amounts from 2 to 4 inches are expected for Elfin
Cove...Pelican...and Juneau...with the heaviest amounts along the
outer coast. Higher rainfall totals from 3 to 6 inches are
expected for the northeast Gulf Coast...including Yakutat.
River and stream levels are currently low across the area. Though
flooding is not expected...small stream levels will rise. Rainfall
will then taper off Tuesday afternoon and water levels will fall
Tuesday night.
