hiking or backpacking in back country areas. Rainfall amounts

waters..
A strong low pressure system will move into the central Gulf of
Alaska Friday producing gale force winds in the Gulf and along
the coastal waters Friday and Saturday. In addition to gale force
winds a southwest swell will produce wave heights of 15 to 20 feet
along the outer coast and over 20 feet in the Gulf of Alaska.
Small craft conditions are expected in the Inner Channels with
this storm. Those with marine interests in the Gulf or along the
outer coast should closely monitor forecast conditions Friday and
Saturday.
