On Thursday, Oct 30th, no rainfall was measured at the Juneau
International Airport which ended a streak of consecutive days
with measurable precipitation at 34. Beginning on Sep 26th, the
total precipitation for this latest streak was 17.73 inches. It
ended well below the current record of 49 consecutive days with at
least .01 inches of rain set in 1999.
- 0620 ADT: Cloudy-Overcast, Breezy -Windy.
- The consecutive day precipitation streak at the Juneau Airport
was ended Thursday, October 30th with a total
of 34 days of measurable precipitation (.01"
of precipitation or more) through Wednesday,
October 29th (no measurable precipitation
on 10/30). This streak exceeded on Oct. 27th
the streak of 31 days set Sept. 14, 1991
to Oct. 14, 1991; but that streak was exceeded
by the record streak of 49 days from Sept.
29 - Nov. 16, 1999.

southwest of Yakutat and continues to track northeast. When this
low enters the Yukon...an extremely strong pressure gradient will
