TEMPERATURE OF 41 DEGREES. THE NORMAL FOR THE MONTH IS 42 DEGREES. THE
MONTHLY HIGH WAS 57 DEGREES WHICH WAS REACHED ON THE 2ND. THE MONTHLY LOW
DIPPED DOWN TO 25 DEGREES ON THE 30TH.
RAIN WAS THE DOMINANT WEATHER FEATURE IN OCTOBER AS 15.05 INCHES FELL...
WHICH IS 6.75 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THIS ACCUMULATED DURING OUR 30 DAYS OF
PRECIPITATION AND GAVE US OUR SECOND WETTEST OCTOBER ON RECORD BEHIND
ONLY 1974 WHERE 15.25 INCHES FELL. OUR WETTEST DAY WAS 23RD WHERE 1.92
INCHES OF RAIN FELL. ON THREE OF THOSE DAYS THE PRECIPITATION FELL AS

- I have figured out what the problem was. The claim
that a consecutive days of measurable precipitation
record had been broken on October 27th was
not true. No consecutive days of measurable
precipitation record was broken this year.
The 34 days this year did exceed on Oct.
27th the streak of 31 days set Sept. 14,
1991 to Oct. 14, 1991; but that streak was
exceeded by the streak of 49 days from Sept.
29 - Nov. 16, 1999.
