Gastineau Genealogical Society



The GGS library is maintained by Society members and is located within the Family History Center of the LDS Church at 5100 Glacier Hwy. Publications are generally related to the Juneau-Douglas area as well as Alaska and the Yukon Territory of Canada. Alaska State Archives

The largest collection of historical genealogy resources in Alaska. Official repository for government-created vital statistics records, probate court records, and for divorces spanning 1884-1959. Select pre-1959 naturalization and immigration records and WWI enlistment records also held.
