The people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast in Mississippi and Alabama are needing all the prayers that we can pray as well as other help if we can. The inevitable finally happened with New Orleans creating one of the biggest disasters to a major U.S.city and it's people in a long time. The personal cost, the social cost, and the economic cost is tremendous. I am also praying that somehow through this that more people will be brought to faith in Jesus Christ, though right now I'm not sure how that will happen.
I keep trying to picture myself if I had been in those areas and hadn't been able to evacuate ahead of the storm. Quite frankly I'm not sure I would make it physically in those conditions.
