A Mother Black Bear at Steep Creek
These pictures were taken at Steep Creek by the Mendenhall Glacier where the U.S.D.A. Forest Service has viewing platforms to view the returning salmon. 9 or 10 black bears in the area wander around and go fishing so they can fatten up for their wintertime snooze. [...]
