<p align="justify"><font face="verdana">The sun came out in the late evening and bathed downtown Juneau and the clouds with an orange glow after a day in which the highest rain rate (of 6.40&#8243; per hour) was recorded at the West Juneau Weather Station since the Davis Vantage Pro weather instruments were installed in November 2002. The Juneau Airport set a new record of .99&#8243; for rainfall for August 9th, breaking the previous record of .80&#8243; set in 1990. Sunset was at 8:57 p.m.</font></p>
