A Late Afternoon Cloud – Looking Southeast

A Late Afternoon Cloud - Looking Southeast.

This large cloud was drifting west from the mainland mountains to the east on a sunny Juneau afternoon. The National Weather Service was predicting at the time: Partly cloudy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Coast Mountains diminishing early this evening. This cumulus cloud was the closest we came to a thunderstorm in this neck of the woods. The photo was made from two pictures stitched together.
